Champions League Quarter Final Draw: Chelsea + Man Utd Handed Tough Tasks

The draw for the quarter finals of the
2013/14 Champions League has taken
place on Friday morning and Chelsea
and Man Utd have been handed difficult
tasks.
Chelsea last won the trophy in 2012 and
cruised through the group stages to reach
the last 16 where they were up against
Didier Drogba ’s Galatasaray. After a 1-1
draw in Turkey in the first leg, Chelsea
eased into the last 8 with a comfortable 2-0
win at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Jose Mourinho’s men have been rewarded
with a tough tie against big-spending
French outfit Paris Saint-Germain – who
thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 6-1 in the
previous round.
Manchester United have put their
domestic problems behind them and
impressed in the group stages before
turning around a 2-0 deficit from the first
leg to beat Olympiakos 3-0 at Old Trafford
on Wednesday night.
However, David Moyes men will now have
to navigate past reigning champions
Bayern Munich in the quarter finals after
the German giants beat Arsenal 3-1 on
aggregate.
The draw also paired Real Madrid against
Borussia Dortmund, while Barcelona will
take on fellow La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
Ties will be played 1st / 2nd April and 8th /
9th April.

Federal Government To Link All State Capitals in Nigeria By Rail

Federal Government yesterday assured
that it would extend rail lines to all state
capitals to enhance economic activities in
the country.
President Goodluck Jonathan gave the
assurance in Katsina when he visited the
Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini
Kabir, in his palace.
Jonathan, responding to a request by the
Emir, said “I assure you that the Federal
Government will include this project even
if it was not in our projection.
“We believe that for the government to
provide mass transit to over 170 million
Nigerians, it needs to extend rail network
linking all the major cities, including
Katsina,” he said, adding that it had plans
to reach all state capitals by rail.
He said rail service would help reduce the
cost of transporting petroleum products
to Nigerians and enhance socio-economic
development of the country.
Jonathan also assured that the
government would develop the Zobe
Water Project to provide drinking water to
the people and enhance agricultural
activities in the area.
He said agriculture was an area the
government had earmarked to create
wealth for the people.
On the Windmill Power Project at Lambar-
rimi, the President said the project was
not directly under Federal Government’s
supervision.
He said government would ensure that
the project was completed within a short
time.
Earlier, the Emir lauded the Federal and
Katsina State Governments for the
numerous projects being executed in the
state, adding that they had direct bearing
on the poor.
Kabair commended Jonathan for the visit,
and urged Nigerians to continue to pray
for peace in the country.

Missing Malaysian Plane Was Hijacked - Officials Reveal After 7 days of speculatio

After 7 days of speculation. Investigators
have concluded that one or more people
with significant flying experience hijacked
the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, switched
off communication devices and steered it
off-course.A Malaysian official told AP
that no motive has been established and
no demands have been made known, and
it is not yet clear where the plane was
taken.
However, the representative who spoke
on condition of anonymity, said that
hijacking was no longer just a theory: 'It is
conclusive'.
The Boeing 777's communication with the
ground was severed just under one hour
into a flight March 8 fromKuala Lumpur to
Beijing.
Malaysian officials have said radar data
suggests it may have turned back and
crossed over the Malaysian peninsula
after setting out on a northeastern path
toward the Chinese capital.
The Malaysian official said only a skilled
aviator could navigate the plane the way
it was flown after its last confirmed
location over the South China Sea, and
that it appeared to have been steered to
avoid radar detection. The plane had
enough fuel to fly for at least five hours
after its last know location, meaning a
vast swath of South and Southeast Asia
would be within its reach.

David Adeleke (born November 21,
1992), better known by his stage
name Davido , is a Nigerian American
recording artist, performer, and
record producer. In 2011, he co-
produced and released “Dami
Duro”, a song well-received
throughout Nigeria. Along with his
elder brother Adewale Adeleke,
Davido is the co-owner of HKN
Music, a record label home to Sina
Rambo, B. Red and DeeKay. He has
produced for numerous artists,
including Naeto C, Skales, Tiwa
Savage, and Sauce Kid. In April 2012,
he signed an endorsement deal with
MTN Nigeria. On October 23, 2013,
Davido partnered with Guinness for
the “Guinness World of More”
concert, held at the Eko Convention
Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in
Victoria Island, Lagos on November 3,
2013. Davido has won a Kora Award,
a Channel O Music Video Award, a
Nigeria Music Video Award, three
Headies awards, four Nigeria
Entertainment Awards, and two
Dynamix All Youth Awards, among
others.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido
relocated to Lagos, Nigeria at a young
age. He released his debut album
Omo Baba Olowo in 2012, which
contained the singles “Back When”
featuring Naeto C, “Dami Duro”, “All
of You”, “Overseas” featuring Sina
Rambo, “Ekuro”, “Gbon Gbon”, and
“Feel Alright” featuring Ice Prince.
Davido has released “Gobe”, “One of
a Kind”, “Skelewu”, and “Aye”, four
singles off his upcoming album; the
upcoming album, currently untitled,
is slated to be release in the fourth
quarter of 2014.
Life and music career
1992–2010: Early life
“I’ve been doing music for like 3
years but I took it seriously in March
2011. I was formerly in a group called
KB international in America. It wasn’t
working out so I thought I should
just do this on my own that was
when I moved back to Nigeria. When
I came, the only people I knew in the
music industry were Wande Coal and
Don Jazzy, they are like family. I told
them that this is what I wanted to do
and they advised me. I was around
people that were musically inclined.
Wande Coal is like a big brother to
me, I’ve known him for years, even
before he dropped his first album.
Shank is also like a brother to me,
one of the first people that
introduced me to the industry. I love
music, and why not do something
you love and are happy doing and
making money at the same time.”
Davido on his decision to venture
into music Davido was born on
November 21, 1992 to Mr. and Mrs.
Adeleke in Atlanta, Georgia. His
father, Chief Deji Adeleke, is a
Nigerian business magnate while his
mother, the late Dr. Vero Adeleke,
was a university lecturer. He attended
The British International School in
Lagos and travelled frequently
between the United States, the
United Kingdom, and Nigeria. Davido
studied Business Administration at
Oakwood University prior to
relocating to Nigeria. He also studied
Business Administration at Babcock
University in Ogun State. Davido’s
love for entertaining people was
inspired by his late mother.
2011-2012:Omo Baba Olowo Work
on Davido’s debut studio album,
Omo Baba Olowo (a Yoruba
translation for “son of a rich man”),
began in 2011. On May 7, 2011,
Davido produced and released “Back
When” featuring Naeto C , his first
song ever recorded. The song served
as the album’s lead single and
received numerous airplay on radio
and TV stations across Nigeria. The
music video for the single, uploaded
to YouTube on May 9, 2011, was shot
and directed in Nigeria by Clarence
Peters. During an interview with
Adesope of Factory 78 TV, Davido
said he recorded “Back When” in
London. On October 30, 2011, Davido
released “Dami Duro” , a song he co-
produced with Shizzi. The music
video for “Dami Duro” was released
on January 8, 2012. It was shot and
directed in Lagos by Clarence Peters
and was released during the Occupy
Nigeria protests. In an interview
posted on Notjustok, Davido spoke
on the release and composition of
“Dami Duro”, saying, “I recorded
Dami Duro in August. What happened
was, I was in the studio, I had the
beat so I freestyled on it and
everyone was like “that shit hard”. I
never touched the song for like 3
months and I sent it out to some
friends. Before I knew it the songs
leaked. So when it leaked I was like
alright I gotta rush and turn this into
a single.” On May 6, 2012, HKN Music
released “Overseas”, a single off the
album. The unfinished version of the
song leaked prior to the official
release. On September 28, 2012, HKN
Music released the music video for
“All of You”. The song was produced
by Gospelondabeat. When the song
was released, it was rumored to be a
“beef track”. In another interview with
Factory78Tv, Davido debunked the
rumors and said he recorded the
song with Gospel after meeting him
at a mall. To Further promote the
album, Davido released music videos
for “Ekuro”, “Gbon Gbon”, and “Feel
Alright”.
2013-present:Upcoming album In
early 2013, Davido began recording
his second studio album. On
February 25, 2013, he released the
upcoming album’s lead single titled
“Gobe”.The song was produced by
Shizzi, HKN Music’s in-house
producer. Charles Mgbolu of
Vanguard Media Limited commented
on the release of the single, saying,
“It’s a beautiful song with a
tremendous video running along. In
Gobe, Davido is beaten up by thugs
after winning the girl. It’s a song that
exudes fun from start to finish.” The
music video for the single was shot
in South Africa by Godfather
Productions. The song was ranked
second on Premium Times list of the
Top 10 songs of 2013. On May 13,
2013, Davido announced via Twitter
that the second single, “One of a
Kind”, from the upcoming album
would be released. The song was also
produced by the aforementioned in-
house producer. The music video for
“One of a Kind” was shot and
directed in South Africa by Tebza of
Godfather Productions. It visualizes a
united Africa rich in culture and
music. On August 13, 2013,
“Skelewu”, the third single, was
released. It was ranked 5th on the
aforementioned list of the top 10
songs of 2013. The song peaked at
number one on Afribiz’s Top 100
chart. A dance competition with a
cash prize of $3000 (N480,000) was
announced days after the release of
the song. Davido uploaded an
instructional dance video onto
YouTube and asked fans to upload
videos of themselves dancing to
“Skelewu”. On October 10, 2013,
Davido declared Bello Moshood
Abiola the winner of the competition,
tweeting: “Congrats my lil bro kiddy!!
Won the 3k dollars skelewu
competition .. I’m gonna change this
kids life!! More things to come
kiddy!!” A week after announcing the
winner of the Skelewu dance
competition, a Sesan directed music
video was released to the public.
Shortly after the release of the video,
Davido took to twitter to debunk the
video, claiming that someone
betrayed him by releasing it. He also
said that he’ll re-shoot the video with
Moe Musa, a UK based music video
director. He tweeted: “Pls disregard
the leak that is not the official video…
The official video is being redone.
Thx ..”.
Sesan released a statement saying:
“My attention is drawn toward the
chaos surrounding the release of the
Skelewu video. Myself and my team
shot the video for Davido in Nigeria
and to the best of my knowledge my
client and his team were very happy
with the result, when they watched/
and approved the video. If he has
since had a change of heart, that is
ok. I am not in any way responsible
for the release of the video. I believe
Davido and myself did a very good
job regarding the video production
and as a professional of over 10
years. I find it very irresponsible and
immature if my client and his
management publicly put out false
statements/comments, in an attempt
to tarnish my name, credibility and
reputation. I remain dedicated,
humble, focused and as hard working
as ever. Thank you to all my fans and
industry professionals.” On October
21, 2013, the official music video for
the single, shot and directed in
London by Moe Musa, was uploaded
onto YouTube at a total length of 3
minutes and 56 seconds. On February
2, 2014, Davido released “Aye”, the
fourth single from his upcoming
album. The song was produced by T
Spice. The music video for “Aye” was
released on February 7, 2014; it was
directed by Clarence Peters.
According to the music video’s
synopsis, “Davido plays a poor farmer
who falls in love with the prince’s
love interest.”
Endorsements On April 6, 2012,
Nigerian Entertainment Today
reported that MTN Nigeria signed
Davido to a N30 million deal,
unveiling him as the face of MTN
Pulse, a marketing campaign for
Nigerian youths. On October 24,
2013, Pulse Nigeria reported that
Guinness Nigeria signed Davido to an
endorsement deal. As part of the
deal, Davido performed at the
Guinness World of More Concert
alongside P-Square, D’banj, Wizkid,
Ice Prince, Burna Boy, Olamide,
Phyno, Chidinma, Waje, and Tiwa
Savage, among others.
Controversial incidents
Nightclub brawl
After the conclusion of the Guinness
Colorful World of More Concert on
November 3, 2013, Davido and his
entourage went to the Nu Grotto
night club in Victoria Island for a
night of fun. While at the club, the
alleged confrontation between
Davido’s bodyguard, Tijani
Olamilekan Ogbeide (Teejay), and DJ
Jaydee, a “known” DJ, led to an
escalation of violence at the club. The
incident that transpired on the night
of November 3 left several people
injured, including Davido’s bodyguard
who was treated for neck wounds.
Several hours after the incident, there
were numerous accounts and
interpretations of the incident.
Davido’s management gave their
account of the incident and
debunked all other accounts.
According to their account, Jaydee
allegedly confronted Teejay with
Davido’s missing ATM card and asked
for permission to speak to Davido
personally. After being refused
access to Davido, Jaydee allegedly
dropped the card on the floor in
anger and attacked Teejay while he
was picking up the card from the
floor. Jaydee allegedly struck Teejay
repeatedly and ran off into the club.
Assault case On August 12, 2012,
Crime Digest reported that Davido
allegedly assaulted Femi Ajibola, a
taxi driver. Ajibola said the incident
started when he got a call from a
young woman who requested a taxi
ride from her house to a hotel in the
Lekki Phase 1 area. Ajibola said that
the girl and her friend asked him to
wait for them. He said that moments
later, one of the girls approached the
taxi cab screaming and pleading to
enter the car. He claim he saw Davido
slap the girl while she entered the
car. He also claim Davido knocked his
face against the cab’s steering wheel
while accusing him of being the girl’s
boyfriend. Moreover, Ajibola said
that four of Davido’s entourage beat
him up severely and took the keys to
his taxi cab. Ajibola said that he went
to report the case to the nearest
police station and was told to do so
the next day. Ajibola told Crime
Digest that he had a total of
N100,000 in the car and had plans of
using the money to payoff the dealer
for the balance he owed on the car.
He said he didn’t see the money in
the car upon returning to the car the
next day. He said he managed to get
hold of Davido’s “number” and
contacted him; he said someone from
Davido’s camp called him back and
promised to pass the message to
him. After reporting the incident to
the police station, Ajibola said he and
police officers went to the girl’s
house. Ajibola said the girl told police
officers that Davido and his
entourage didn’t assault her. Ajibola
said he learnt that Davido was dating
one of the girls he picked up and that
the fight between them started after
she caught Davido in bed with
another girl who she was friends
with. Ajibola told Crime Digest that
the DPO at the police station assured
him that they will investigate the case
and find out the truth. Ajibola said
that after Sharon Adeleke dropped
off the taxi cab’s key, he pleaded
with her and the DPO to compensate
him for “the incident”. Davido’s
publicist, Valerie Obaze, denied his
involvement in the incident saying,
“Davido has no knowledge of any
incident involving the assault of a taxi
driver or the illegal seizure of his car.
He does not condone violence of any
sort and will not be commenting on
this untrue allegation.” Davido has
since denied the incident and
referred to it as a case of blackmail.
He specifically said: “I want to assure
all my beloved fans and friends that I
am not wanted by the police and no
officer in the Nigerian police gave an
order for my arrest. I did not beat up
any taxi driver and the lady that hired
the taxi driver and all those that are
involved in this matter have made
statements to the police and none of
them mentioned my name except the
taxi driver who claims that a large
sum of money was missing in his
taxi, in fact the lady in question
stated that she was not beaten by
anyone and that nobody assaulted
the taxi driver. This is a case of
blackmail, and I have resolved not to
succumb to any blackmail for money.
And to all those that are involved in
this conspiracy to bring me down, I
want to remind you that God
Almighty himself got me to where I
am today in my music career and you
will not succeed in your devilish
efforts to bring me down.”

Brandon Howard Could Be Michael Jackson’s Bastard Son! DNA Test Result Proves Reveals That!

Almost five years after his death, Music
Legend, Michael Jackson’s name continues
to pop up in our entertainment news.
Enjoy the story…
There’s a 99.9% chance a 31-year-old
man is Michael Jackson’s illegitimate son
… at least that’s the claim after an alleged
DNA test turned up a match.
According to the test results — obtained
by Alki David and his company,
FilmOn.com – Brandon Howard is almost
certainly Michael’s son. David told TMZ
Live he got MJ’s dental impression from a
Beverly Hills doctor that he got at an
auction. The impression is 30 years old
but David says its filled with DNA.
Brandon – who now goes by B Howard
and looks and acts very much like Michael
– was not present for the unveiling, but
David says he had Howard’s DNA and it
matched up.
David would not say which lab performed
the DNA test, but says it showed a clear
match.
Brandon’s mom – Miki Howard – is a
famous gospel singer who Michael knew.
She went by the name “Billy” back in 1982.
Interestingly ..a year later Michael
released “Billie Jean,” which included the
lyrics, “Billie Jean’s not my lover” and “The
kid is not my son.”
For B Howard’s part – he’s distancing
himself from the whole spectacle,
insisting he had nothing to do with it.
Meanwhile Daily Mail reports that singer
Augie Johnson has declared that he is the
real father of Brandon Howard – even
though ‘DNA evidence’ revealed today
alleges he is ’99.9 per cent’ positively
Michael Jackson’s lovechild.
Augie, 65, was one of the backing singers
on Michael Jackon’s 1979 breakthrough
album, Off The Wall, and went on to form
the band, Side Effect.
And speaking to MailOnline , Augie – who
was in a long-term relationship with
Brandon’s mom, singer Miki Howard –
said he very much considers Brandon,
now 31, to be his natural son.
Augie had two sons with Miki, Brandon
and Nicholas, and breaking his silence on
the rumours that Brandon could be the
late superstar’s son, he said: ‘I KNOW
Brandon’s my son – I was there in the
delivery room, I have the pictures of him
being born. I got the records, I got
everything.
‘Before me, Miki wasn’t with anyone else
– she didn’t even know Michael at that
time. But you know what – I love my son
and he can do whatever he likes. I’m not
tripping on this – I want Brandon to have
a successful career.’

How Obasanjo’s Government Spent $500m Abacha Loot –Okonjo- Iweala

Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-
Iweala, has explained how the Olusegun
Obasanjo administration she was part of
spent the loot recovered from the late
maxiumn dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha.
She said contrary to reports that the sum
of $2bn was recovered from Abacha’s
loot, $500m was the actual amount
recovered under her watch when she was
first made finance minister.
But while speaking in London in
November 2006, the pioneer
Chairman of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission,
Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, had said that
“Abacha took over $6bn from
Nigeria,” and that $2bn of the loot
had been recovered.
Ribadu repeated the same figure in
the same month during the 12th
International Anti-Corruption
Conference in Guatemela.
Three months ago, Ribadu repeated
the same claim in Dakar at the 2nd
Annual High Level Dialogue on
Governance and Democracy in
Africa.
Also, as Minister of Finance in the
Olusegun Obasanjo administration,
Okonjo-Iweala, in 2005 – a year before
Ribadu made his claim – at a news
conference in Switzerland reportedly said
that Nigeria had recovered about $2bn
total of asset from Abacha.
But now she is singing a different song.
Reacting to issues of the stolen money,
Okonjo-Iweala said through her Special
Assistant on Communication, Mr. Paul
Nwabuikwu, that the recovered $500m
under her watch was verified and used in
a structured manner for developmental
projects.
Nwabuikwu said, “The minister did not say
only $500m was recovered as the entire
loot of Abacha. What she actually said
was that under her watch when she was
in government as a minister, it was that
amount that was recovered. And that
money was used in a structured way to
carry out some programmes of
government.
“You will recall that at a point, she left
government to return after some years
and she cannot be held accountable for
whatever happens when she was not in
office. So the bottom line is that only
$500m was the amount recovered when
she was in government.”
Since that Coordinating Minister of the
economy is running from "responsibility"
who will now give account?

President Goodluck Jonathan Escapes Plane Crash In His N9bn Jet

There was tension inside the plane, many
of those with President were looking at
his face, but he looked away from them
as fear started creeping into their minds.
What will happened, is this a sign of
danger?
President Goodluck Jonathan and top
government functionaries on Saturday
escaped an air mishap at Minna Airport,
Niger State, when the N9billion
Presidential Jet developed technical fault,
while they were aboard.
The presidential jet, Nigerian Air Force
001, had earlier conveyed Jonathan to
Minna for PDP North-Central rally which
held in the state. But when at the end of
the rally, the President returned to the
airport in company of top government
officials, PDP state governors and party
chiefs for a trip to Sokoto, from where he
was scheduled to return to Abuja, they
didn't know that something strange was
waiting for them....
Several minutes after Jonathan had bade
farewell to those who accompanied him
to the airport, and the door of the aircraft
was shut, the aircraft failed to move.
After many attempts, crew members and
engineers, for the first time, had to
disembarked from the aircraft and made
spirited efforts to fix the fault as armed
security men took strategic positions
around the place.
While this was going on, Vice-President
Namadi Sambo; Senate President,, David
Mark; PDP governors and National
Assembly and Federal Executive Council
members were watching in disbelieve.
They couldn't understand why a
Presidential Jet that they voted billions of
Naira for its maintenance would be in
such a bad shape that it couldn't fly any
more. Is it that the Ogas are pocketing
the money for servicing?
When it became obvious that Nigeria's
Number One Presidential plane has been
grounded, the commander of the
Presidential Air Fleet, Air Vice Marshal Uko
Ebong, ordered that a smaller presidential
jet, which took the Vice-President to the
state be brought to fly Jonathan.
President Jonathan disembarked from the
faulty jet around 3.30pm and quickly
moved to the smaller aircraft.
All the top government officials and PDP
governors who had rushed into the first
plane with Jonathan all come down with
long faces, with some of them sweating
heavily. It was indeed a big
embarrassment as many started making
alternative travel arrangements.
When asked what happened to the plane,
a FAAN official simply said: “The return
engine refused to pick.”

"I Fell In Love With A Girl While Training To Be A Priest" -- Pope Francis Reveals

Pope Francis has confessed that he fell in
love with a girl that he met when he was
training to be a priest. After a week-long
fixation, the Latin pontiff then aged 22 or
23 had to seek redemption in the
confession booth, he revealed.
In an extraordinary interview to celebrate
his first year in the Catholic church’s top
job, Francis revealed that ‘there was a girl
that turned my head for a week when I
was at the seminary.’ ‘But we were
young.’ He added mischievously: ‘I tell my
confessor about these things.’ The
Argentinian pontiff seems to have had no
problem attracting the ladies in his youth.
He has previously revealed that he had a
girlfriend when he was 17, that he used
to go dancing with in salsa clubs.
However his vocation to the priesthood
was too strong. On a night out with
friends in Buenos Aires, the youngster
stopped to go to confession when his
decision to join the priesthood came
upon him. And after he became pope, a
long lost childhood love came forward.
Former neighbour Amalia Damonte told
how their families had divided them after
the then Jorge Maria Bergoglio had sworn
to marry her, aged 12.
In the anniversary interview, Francis also
revealed that former Pope Benedict XVI
was to come out of retirement.

Police In Enugu Arrest 6 Christians For Destroying Pagan Shrines In Their Community

The police in Enugu State say six persons
have been arrested over their alleged
involvement in the burning down of
shrines in Umuaji, Ezeagu Local
Government Area.
Vanguard reports that the suspects,
members of the Indigenous Christians of
Umuaji, carried out the act during their
special crusade.The group reportedly
claimed that the burnt shrines were
responsible for the backwardness of their
community and her indigenes, adding
that they had the approval of the natives
to destroy the shrines as part of spiritual
cleansing of the area.
But while Christians in the area were
celebrating the destruction of the shrines,
the four priests in-charge of the burnt
shrines reported the arson to the police
which led to the arrest of Nnaeme and
members of his group.
Police spokesman in the state, Ebere
Amaraizu, stated that the police has
commenced full scale investigations into
the “incident of burning down of different
sacred shrine houses in the community as
well as damaging of other valuable items
at Umuaji Aguobuowa in Ezeagu local
Government Area of Enugu State. He said:
“On 7/1/14 in the early hours, a group
known as Indigenous Christians of Umuaji
led by one Joseph Nnaeme, alias 404
gathered themselves and went on
rampage during their crusade in the
community and during which different
sacred shrines of the community were
burnt down and other valuable items
damaged. Six persons have been arrested
in connection with the incident just as the
state command has advised members of
the community to remain calm and law
abiding while the investigation lasts”.
Meanwhile, the four priests in charge of
the affected shrines have described the
act as sacrilegious.

Former BBA Star Prezzo Infects His Girlfriend With Séxually Transmitted Disease (STD)

These are not the best of times for Kenya
rapper and ex-BBA contestant, Prezzo, as
the sharp guy has been dumped by his
Tanzanian girlfriend, Chagga. They were
both involved in a mild drama on the
social media when, Chagga wrote on
Instagram that Prezzo begged her to buy
him stuffs on his birthday.
Some days after the breakup, during
which both parties literally washed their
dirty linens in public, Chagga is now
claiming Prezzo has infected her with a
séxually transmitted disease, while they
were dating.
The séxy lady even went as far as posting
her medical result online for all to see...
The result showed that she was tested
positive for a séxually transmitted disease
known as Pyelonephritis.
On his part, Prezzo tweeted that he was
the one who broke up with Chagga and
not otherwise. "President’ is like a drug
(highly addictive). He’s the best up until
the drugs runs out. Withdrawal symptoms
can be seen from miles,” he said in his
tweet.
As they continue to wash their dirty
laundry in the public, the lady has deleted
all Prezzo's pix from her page.

Husband Gruesomely Murders Pregnant Wife 11 Days After Their Wedding (PHOTO)

The Oyo State Police Command is
currently battling to unravel the motive
behind the murder of a 21-year-old
pregnant woman, Mrs Busola Afolabi-
Haruna, 11 days after her wedding
ceremony.
Late Busola had her Nikkah ceremony on
Saturday, February 15, a day after
Valentine’s Day, in Ibadan, but had her
life and that of her unborn baby cut short
with hot lead pumped into her skull from
the gun of unknown hoodlums on
Wednesday, February 26.
The bullet reportedly penetrated the skull
and left a gaping hole at the nape of her
neck, with her brain tissues spattering all
over the car seat she occupied.
New investigation reveal that her
husband is kinda responsible for her
death.
Saturday Tribune learnt that Busola’s
husband, Mr Yemi Haruna, told
policemen at Oluyole Division, Ibadan,
that at about 10.30p.m, he drove his car
towards their home at Elebu area of
Ibadan, with his wife occupying the front
passenger seat. As he stepped out to
open his residence’s gate in order to
drive in, according to him, three armed
men appeared from the dark and
struggled to get his car key from him.
Haruna told the police that he quickly
made for the car and instructed his wife
to lock her side of the door, but before
he could reach the car, one of the armed
robbers aimed at his wife and shot her.
However, the parents and siblings of the
deceased are crying foul, saying that
Busola was murdered for reasons best
known to the perpetrator(s).
According to Mrs Tosin Afolabi, elder
sister of the deceased, “my sister met her
husband, Yemi Haruna, in 2013 and their
relationship did not last more than three
months when she got pregnant. She
celebrated her 21st birthday in his house
on July 4, 2013, after which she informed
my mother that she was pregnant. Her
husband, Yemi, was invited by my mother
and she asked him of the kind of job he
was doing. He replied that he was into
petroleum business.
“He also told her that he had never been
married but we later learnt that he had a
wife who bore him a child but had packed
out of his house. Mummy called him
again to ask if it was true and he replied
in the affirmative, saying that the
relationship was not approved by her
family because the lady was a Christian.
“The wedding ceremony between Yemi
and my sister took place on Saturday,
February 15, but on Monday, February 24,
we got information that he was not into
petroleum business as he claimed. I asked
my sister and she became worried as she
said it was a confirmation of what her
sister-in-law told her on her wedding
day.
“At 10.46p.m. on Wednesday, February 26,
her husband flashed my number. I
thought my sister was in labour and he
didn’t have enough airtime to call me, so
I called him back. He said when he got to
the gate of his residence, he saw three
young men emerge with gun. Yemi added
that he instructed my sister to wind up
the glass on her side and lock the door of
the car. He said they shot my sister.
“I asked him where my sister was but he
cut off the line. I called him back
repeatedly but he didn’t pick my call until
the third time. I repeated my question
and he replied that he didn’t know the
hospital because it was neighbours who
took her to the hospital. He told me he
was at police station to obtain report and
he cut the line.
“I called him again and he said he was
told that my sister was taken to Lad
Hospital. Since the hospital is about five
buildings away from my residence, I went
there. The security officer there told me
that she was dead and her body had
been taken away. I screamed and pointed
at the husband’s car parked within the
premises, but they said he went away
with the police.
“I left for my father’s place and we all
returned to the hospital but were not
allowed in. We started calling Yemi again
but he did not pick our calls. My mother
called Yemi’s mother to help us call him
so that we would know Busola’s
condition. Yemi later picked my father’s
call at about 2:00a.m. and said he was at
the police station and would get back to
us when he was through.
When we didn’t hear from him, we
started calling him, but again, he didn’t
pick the calls. We gave his number to my
elder brother and he called Yemi at about
3:00a.m. Since Yemi was not familiar with
his number, he picked the call for two
seconds and all my brother said he heard
was a ringing laughter at the background
before he cut the line.
“At about 6.30a.m., on Thursday, he
picked our call and when we asked why
he did not answer our previous calls, he
said he forgot his phones in a car. We
told him to show up at the hospital
because the hospital staff said they would
not release the corpse without the
presence of the person who brought it.
He told us he was still at the police
station.
“Till my sister was taken from Lad
Hospital to Teju Hospital, Ring Road, to
remove the foetus inside her, Yemi did
not show up. My mother and I decided to
meet him at the police station and we
were shocked when we saw how they
brought a table before him to eat. In
annoyance, I berated him for having the
appetite to eat while my sister was yet to
be buried.
“When we closely observed the corpse of
my sister, we noticed that the bullets tore
through the back of her head, believing
that she was shot in the mouth. We saw
the empty cartridge shell in Yemi’s car
and part of Busola’s brain tissues on the
seat where she sat.
“We also noticed her dress was torn but
the police claimed they were the ones
who tore the dress when they wanted to
examine her. Yemi did not follow us to
Teju Hospital where his wife was operated
to remove the foetus before burial.”
The father of the deceased, Alhaji
Tajudeen Afolabi, also appealed to Oyo
State Police Command to help him
unravel the mystery behind his daughter’s
death. He added that he believed his
daughter was murdered.
“Where I am confused is this: Busola and
her husband came together in the car
driven by him. He went to open the gate
to go in when the armed robbers
emerged as he claimed. He that drove the
car and was at the gate was not shot; it
was my daughter who sat in the car that
was shot at close range. The car was not
taken away; no item was picked from the
car. That is why I am insisting that my
daughter was not killed by armed
robbers; she was murdered.”
When contacted, the Police Public
Relations Officer, Olabisi Okuwobi-
Ilobanafor, a Deputy Superintendent of
Police, said the command was aware of
the case, adding that the Deputy
Commissioner of Police, Mr Clement
Adoda, had instructed that all the
allegations raised be investigated.

Onyeka Onwenu Dragged To Court By A Businesswoman She Assaulted

A business woman, Mrs. Olajoke Adesipe,
has accused popular musician, Onyeka
Onwenu, of assault and she has thus
petitioned the National Human Rights
Commission, after she was forcefully
evicted from her shop at the National
Centre for Women Development, Abuja
on the order of Onyeka, who is the new
DG.
Mrs Adesipe, in the letter dated March 3,
2014, claimed that Onwenu directed
security officers to throw her wares out of
her shop, adding that she was assaulted
on the instruction of Madam Onwenu
when she took the pictures of the
incident.
The business woman, who sells textiles,
said she was a yearly tenant, adding that
her current tenancy would not end until
December, 2014. Mrs Adesipe petition
reads:
“On January 21, I heard that the DG might
likely eject me even when my rent is still
valid. On February 13, I got a call from
Onwenu asking why I had not moved out
of the shop and I told her that nobody
had given me an allocation letter for the
new shop as she promised.
“She said if I failed to move out by
February 14, she would send for State
Security Service to chase me out. On
February 14, I was at the centre early. I
heard that Onwenu, in company with her
security personnel, had forced my shop
open. I ran there and saw her supervising
the forceful ejection without any prior
court or police order,” Adesipe stated in
the petition.
According to Punch, she got a letter to
vacate the premises within three days on
January 28, 2014, adding that another
letter was served on her on February 4, in
which the centre threatened to go to
court.
She explained that she wrote a letter to
Onwenu on February 6, and sent her a
text message three days later seeking an
audience. She said the DG gave her an
appointment for the following day.
Mrs Adesipe said she had earlier met
other members of the management team
at Onwenu’s office and after she narrated
her story, Madam Onwenu, who is now
showing herself as big woman because of
an appointment, had apologised to her
and told her a formal apology letter
would be written by the centre to her.
She added that Onwenu said she should
vacate the shop and promised that she
would be relocated to the shopping
complex within the premises. Mrs Adesipe
said she would vacate as soon as a shop
she gets an allocation letter.
Back to her assault: She said that she
took pictures of the scene of the incident
with her phone but Onwenu immediately
directed that her phone be confiscated.
She said in the struggle for the phone,
she was beaten and dragged on the
ground, while her cloth and bags were
torn.

Chief of Army Staff Relocates To Borno State To END Boko Haram Senseless Killing

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth
Minimah, has relocated to the North-East
to personally supervise the war against
Boko Haram insurgents in the zone. There
had been a public outcry over the
increased rate of the massacre of
innocent civilians, including
schoolchildren, by Boko Haram terrorists
in the North-East.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on
Defence and the Army, George Sekibo,
confirmed the development to Punch on
Sunday. He explained that Minimah’s
relocation was in compliance with the
committee’s resolution directing him to
move to the zone to personally coordinate
military operations there.
When asked what action the
committee would have taken if the
COAS had not heeded the February
26, 2014, directive, the Senate
committee chairman replied:
“What action do you want again?
The Chief of Army Staff has already
relocated.”
Punch gathered that the decision of the
COAS to join his men and colleagues in
the other services in the zone is largely
responsible for the recent successes
recorded by the military.
A source said Minimah was collaborating
with the Chief of Air Staff whose men are
providing air support for the Special
Forces drawn from the Army, the Nigerian
Navy, and others.
Investigations revealed that General
Minimah had replaced the Commander of
the 7th Infantry Division in the area, Maj.-
Gen. Junaid Bindawa with Maj.-Gen A.
Mohammed.
A source said, “The GOC has been
replaced by Maj.-Gen. Mohammed. He
has since taken over. The man is very
rugged that is why he is called the
‘bandit.’ He was very rugged as a young
officer; in fact one of the most rugged
military officers. He is very fearless.”

Obviously, 15 Years Of PDP Government Is A Big Waste - APC

History was made in Abuja on Thursday
when the leaders, chieftains and
members of the fast growing party, All
Progressives Congress, during a national
summit, presented the parties “Code of
Ethics and Roadmap to a New Nigeria” to
the public. On the occasion, many
speakers discredited the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP), accusing it of
wasting the mandate given it in the last
15 years.
The APC, a merger of some leading
political parties in the country registered
on July 31, 2013, has become the greatest
threat to the PDP domination of the
political theatre.
"APC considers the Nigerian people as
our nation’s greatest assets, and will do
everything to protect and preserve human
life and dignity; upholds a Nigeria bound
by the principle of freedom, justice,
peace, unity and the rule of law; upholds
and respects every individual’s choice of
faith under God; has no tolerance for
corruption, and will manage Nigeria’s
resources responsibly, with a commitment
to accountability and pursuit of the
pursuit of the greatest good for the
greatest number of people, and APC is
committed to a strong system of
government at the federal, state and local
levels as the most effective vehicle for
harnessing the diversity and preserving
the unity of Nigeria.”The party’s leaders
used the forum to present the mission,
commitment, the history of the party and
the Code of Ethics to the public with a
view to presenting a platform better than
the ruling PDP. Speakers urged Nigerians
to seize the opportunity provided by the
failure of PDP to effect the much-awaited
change come 2015.
Presenting the mission, the chieftains
said, “The All Progressives Congress is
committed to a Nigeria that achieves its
full potential and promise. We work
towards a nation that is economically and
socially vibrant, peaceful, just and secure;
a nation where the blight of corruption is
no longer tolerated in our political,
business or civic affairs; a nation that
invests in improving the livelihoods of its
people and the places where we live; a
nation that recognizes strength in its
diversity. A nation where all citizens can
earn a respectable living, provide for their
families and contribute to the betterment
of their communities and a nation of
progress.”
“The APC”, as presented by its leaders,
“rests on the foundation of democracy,
fairness, and the pursuit of opportunity
for all citizens, predicated on economic
productivity, fair competition and bridging
of inequalities; pursues its objectives of
increasing economic opportunity, social
welfare and progress through a
government-led and private sector-driven
economy; upholds and respects the
interest of one person, one vote
grounded in free and fair elections at all
levels; upholds and respects the interests
of Nigeria’s diverse ethnic groups that
constitute our nation and recognizes
Nigeria’s strategic role on the African
continent and commits to the pursuit of a
foreign policy that promotes peace,
security and our national interest.”
All these were presented by APC
chieftains including interim national
chairman Chief Bisi Akande, former head
of state Gen. Muhammadu Buhari,
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu,
Senator Alimodu Sheriff, Senator Chris
Ngige, Chief Audu Ogbe, former vice
president Atiku Abubakar, Mrs Sharon
Ikeazor, Hajiya Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, Alhaji
Mohammed Garba Gadi, Chief Tom Ikimi
and Chief Segun Osoba.
The “Draft Code of Ethics” of the party was
presented by all the 16 APC governors
with the exception of Governor Kashim
Shettima of Borno State who was
represented by his deputy. They also
talked about the “Roadmap to a New
Nigeria”.
The party, according to the “Roadmap”
presented, will create jobs, fight
corruption, free relevant quality
education, restore Nigerian agriculture,
housing plan, healthcare plan for children
and adults, social welfare plan for the less
advantaged, build roads, power and
infrastructure, better manage the natural
resources and strengthen peace, security
and foreign policy.
Below are excerpts from some of the
speeches:
Akande: The future of Nigeria with APC is
the future for the Nigerian youths. We will
give good education that will make the
youth employable.
Buhari: There is no future for Nigeria
without addressing the problem of
insecurity. Nigeria must be secured.
Nigeria must be efficiently managed. The
No. 1 problem of Nigeria is insecurity.
Tinubu: APC is not just a party; it is a
contract with Nigerians… The PDP should
be voted out of power come 2015 and
there will be a new Nigeria when APC
comes to power.
Onu: Nigeria under APC will be able to
play her rightful role which all nations will
respect.
Tony Momoh: Freedom is the dividend of
democracy. Hospital, good roads and
water are expected from any government.
Tom Ikimi: Obasanjo weakened the
opposition during his time. He was a
dictator who declared in 1999 that he
won’t tolerate any opposition party in
Nigeria as long as he was president.
Atiku: All ourr efforts to establish a two-
party system had been undermined. The
PDP government in the last 15 years has
failed Nigeria.
Ogbeh: We don’t have problems that are
insurmountable. What we want to do now
is to do it the best way, which is fixing
problem the confronting the economy…
APC is set to create employment
opportunity for the teeming youths who
are being wasted in the labour market.
Sheriff: When APC say that the PDP is
bad, then APC has to do well; otherwise
what happened to PDP would happen to
APC. It is dictatorship that kills PDP; we
should avoid dictatorship if we don’t
want what happened to PDP to happen to
APC.In APC, we speak of a new Nigeria
where our God-given human and natural
resources are fully harnessed for the
greater good. Every time I remember the
words of the great Bob Marley, I wonder
if he had Nigeria in mind when he sang,
“In the abundance of water, the fool is
thirsty.”
Gbajabiamila: We speak of a new Nigeria
that can truly be called a federal republic
practising a federal system and not a
unitary system. We speak of a new Nigeria
where other arms of government are truly
independent and where the rule of law
reigns supreme. We speak very
expectantly of a new Nigeria where no
child will be left behind and education
will be a right and not a privilege and
where being shoeless will no longer mean
being clueless. A new Nigeria where the
word impunity will become a thing of the
past and 16 will no longer be greater than
19.
Ngige: Bad judiciary, bad education and
so on are the bane of Nigeria. The PDP
has nothing for Ndigbo. It is only in the
APC there is hope for us.
Gov Ibikunle Amosun: What PDP says is
not possible, we APC will make it
possible.
Gov Rochas Okorocha: The PDP has
written us a cheque that can’t be cashed
in any bank of progress.
Gov Oshiomhole: We are committed to
build a Nigeria that is economically strong
and provides security for the rich and
poor. If it is true that we’ve sustained
growth over the years; how do we explain
the number of the poor? The challenge
we face is that we are being fed with the
statistics that this country is one of the
fastest-growing economies, yet there is
nothing to show on ground. APC believes
that we must reinvent the industrial base
of Ikeja, Apapa, Port Harcourt, and Kano
textile industry. There are no miracles in
the lives of nations. Nations are built by
meticulous planning.
Gov Kwankwaso: We need to train and
retrain our security, stop corruption. I
don’t know where I would be today
without APC, but definitely not in PDP…
Nigeria has the potential to stop
insurgency but lacks the leadership to
effect it. The APC government will put an
end to the Boko Haram insurgency.
Poverty, Corruption Rob Nigeria Of
Integrity, Greatness – Ezekwesili
Former minister of education Oby
Ezekwesili has said corruption and
poverty are two factors that have robbed
Nigeria of its dignity, integrity and
greatness, despite its huge potential at
independence.
Speaking in Abuja during the All
Progressives Congress (APC) national
summit, Ezekwesili blamed corruption for
Nigeria’s inability to achieve its potential
despite its 100 years of existence.
She said Nigerians are in no way
celebrating centenary because Nigerians
feel a sense of disappointment.
She said as a result of corruption, despite
large revenue accruing to the federal
government from the oil sector, Nigeria’s
human development index is at the same
level with Chad Republic, while its
maternal mortality rate is the same with
Afghanistan.
She said: “Some people say poverty and
corruption are not really a big problem;
after all, other countries had corruption
and they still developed. I don’t know
what script they are reading from. But the
script that I read from has clearly shown
that poverty and corruption are the two
things that rob Nigerians of their dignity.
“Poverty deprives one of the basic
necessity and basic services that they
need in order to preserve their self-
dignity. Poor governance on the hand is
what poverty helps to breed.”
She said Nigeria has in the last 50 years
earned more than $600 billion from oil
revenue, yet more than 60 per cent of its
citizens live below poverty line.
She said: “What are the greatest indicators
of failure? For 69 per cent of our people
in our land to be in the class of poverty is
the greatest failure of a country that has
inconsiderable revenue from natural
resource endowment with its attendant
cancerous wasting away on what would
have legendarily been the best potential
realized economic development.
“The truth is that our country is engulfed
in systemic and endemic corruption.”
She blamed the political class for some of
Nigeria’s problems, saying the country
has been short of leaders who will render
selfless service to the country.
She however expressed optimism for the
future, saying the level of failure being
expressed is not sustainable.
“We shall stop failure at some point. Why
am I optimistic? There is a rising
crescendo of dissatisfaction with failures
among the youth of this country and that
gives me some sense of optimism,” she
added.
