Chelsea Transfers: Complete Break Down Of Blues January Window

Chelsea sold off four players and
brought in four while sending
another host on loan throughout
England and Europe.
The biggest move of the window was
seeing Jose Mourinho agree to sell
Juan Mata to Manchester United, but
he quickly made sure the cash was
swapped for the arrival of former
Chelsea man Nemanja Matic,
Liverpool target Mohamed Salah and
young defender Kurt Zouma.
The Blues quickly sent Zouma back to
St. Etienne on loan while also seeing
young arrival Bertrand Traore sent
out on loan to Holland.
Other sales of Kevin De Bruyne, Sam
Walker and Michael Essien all made
way for the arrivals of Mourinho’s
new comers and key loan moves of
note are those of Josh McEachran,
Ryan Bertrand and Gael Kakuta to
Wigan, Aston Villa and Lazio
respectively.
